Plymouth Cat Rescue
A microchip is a small electronic device, which is the size of a grain of rice. The microchip is coded with a unique number that can be read by a scanner, the chip is not active until it is scanned.
Using a specially designed implanting device the microchip is injected through a sterile needle under the pet's skin. it is a quick and easy procedure.
In dogs, cats , rabbits and ferrets the microchip is implanted under the skin, between the shoulder blades.
No anaesthetic is required and the procedure should cause no more
discomfort than a standard vaccination.
We are fully qualified and trained by Peddymark, we also carry liability insurance for your peace of mind.
This is not just a job but a passion of ours, we support responsible pet ownership and believe having your animal microchipped is the best possible way to ensure you are reunited if anything should happen and you pet go missing.
We understand for many people there pets are there world so we try to make the procedure as quick and painless as possible, reducing stress not just for your beloved furry but for you too.
